SIMILE | Timeline →
Pretty amazing open source javascript/xml tool for creating timelines.
Sigh
Tumblr’s out with some new features; 10mb audio files (up from 5mb), and a new customization page. Yup, that seems to be it, after how ever many months of silence (other than when their servers were down for a while last week). And yeah, date sorting is still broken.
Calibrating screens on all three computers, even the old 12” Powerbook. This is really the last thing I should be doing right now. What I *should* be doing, is testing html emails in Outlook through Virtual PC. Hence the procrastination.

“I don’t care how hot you are if there is nothing turning the gears your like a chocolate eclair with out the filling, a one bite anway from the garbage. The reason i’ve typing to you is because you remind me of someone. Do I remind you of someone? Get a good look ok. let me know.” — frangry and her skeevy myspace pervs
Hearing someone walk by with their cell phone on speaker phone always makes me think there’s a cop nearby. Why does that make me so nervous? But moreover, why do you need to be on speakerphone?!

My brother’s old iBook was falling off the table, Michelle grabbed it by the corner of the screen, and it totally sliced her hand bloody. Way to take one for the team Michelle, but what the hell is up with the razor-edged iBook?

Cloverfield was quite awesome. The shaky cam made a few people leave the theater, but I say any movie that makes you puke is doing something right. There are also some critics saying it’s “too soon” to see buildings in New York get attacked by a monster like that. I think they’re right; I’m still broken up from that piece of shit Godzilla remake from 10 years ago.

iPhone Webclip Icons
FYI: To create a custom icon for iPhone/iPod Touch home screen bookmarks, save a 57 × 57 px PNG with the name “apple-touch-icon.png” at the top level of your server. (Without one, the default icon is a scaled-down screenshot of the web page you’re making the shortcut for.) - via Daring Fireball

My first 1.5gb Mozy backup just completed. So far so good, though pretty damn slow. Now let’s see how 650gb goes.

Well that was a waste of a morning. Spent the past 3 hours trying to find what was causing Kernel Panics on my Quad G5. (New Mac Pro time?)

Friend Joshua (0-Style), had a nice feature interview in this really well designed, very slick online magazine.
