A couple really good movies I saw recently:
In Bruges, Way better than I expected. Dark and funny and quiet and sad and fucked up. And I didn’t hate Colin Farrell in it.
Son of Rambow, Nicely done quirkiness based around a imaginative but sheltered kid who sees a movie for the first time ever and it flips his world.
And a good book:
The Yiddish Policemen’s Union, by Michael Chabon....
Had a dream that I got drafted into the Alaskan Wolf Defense Militia. Apparently Alaskan sovereignty is being threatened by large dogs and only I could help.
