See Detroit through a rose-colored video, circa '65
The 18-minute film was created in 1965, when the city was trying to land the 1968 Summer Olympics. I just wish some of the “considered planning” and “the applied skills of planners” had been kept in place for the next 30 years, instead of letting the city gut it’s downtown and move to the burbs.
