Designer, developer and photographer in Michigan, doing what (little) I can to help it recover its former glory. I run my own design company, Elevated Works, my photography is at peterbaker.net, and my (old) photoblog was treemeat.com. |
Elevated Press’ new/old Chandler & Price is up and running like a champ. New/old paper cutter coming today, and finally moving the Vandercook into the new shop. Massive amounts of steel being manipulated (gotta find my steel toes). See what else is going on over at the blog.
Also, look for Elevated Press goods at the Renegade Craft Fair in Chicago, December 5/6th.
My lovely, kick ass wife Michelle’s letterpress business, Elevated Press, finally has a website to show things off, designed and created by her slow, slacking husband, me.
Everything she does is printed by hand on old, archaic, and ridiculously heavy machines (a C&P, a Vandercook, and a Kelsey, see the about page for the details). More pictures of our shop space, where I am now working out of and setting up a photo studio, to come, check the blog.
